mail() not delivering to certain addresses e.g. @hotmail.com or @msn.com

Hi there,

 

As the subject says Im having problems. messages deliver fine to some addresses (@tndesign.co.uk for example) but not others.

 

What could be the problem?

 

What's the correct format for all the parameters of the mail() function?

 

This is really stressing me out and holding back work on my site.

Check with your ISP. Sometimes hotmail servers (& AOL etc) can block ip addresses for no good reason... They can request an unblock but doesn't mean that it will last long.

 

There could be a rogue script sending spam out from the same server as you (esp if you are on shared hosting)

So I ask the people who are providing the hosting package to contact Hotmail & AOL?
