DarkPrince2005 Posted September 3, 2007 Author Share Posted September 3, 2007 I have tried using the ip address of the server, I have triedd using their internal ip address to the mysql server, and I've tried using the dns as the hostnames. but with the attempts where I used the ip addresses it returned an errror that said mysql_connect was an undefined function. And with the dns it said that it could not open the mysql dll file. Please I'd really apreciate any help it is quite urgent. But, naturally because it is a live server this is actually not possible. So, I am really hoping that there is maybe a different sollution out there. That maybe there is somebody out there more experienced than thhe newbie server administrators.
