I am a beginner in the PHP enviroment and

does anyone know how to save the data from mysql displayed in the php page into MsExcel file.

what i want is to get the exectly the same row and colums displayed in the php page into the MsExcel file.

<?php

$host="localhost";
$username="root";
$password="";
$db_name="test";
$tbl_name="test_mysql";

mysql_connect("$host", "$username", "$password")or die("cannot connect");
mysql_select_db("$db_name")or die("cannot select DB");

$sql="SELECT * FROM $tbl_name";
$result=mysql_query($sql);

while($rows=mysql_fetch_array($result)){
?>
<table width="400" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3">
<tr>
<td width="10%"><? echo $rows['id']; ?></td>
<td width="30%"><? echo $rows['name']; ?></td>
<td width="30%"><? echo $rows['lastname']; ?></td>
<td width="30%"><? echo $rows['email']; ?></td>
</tr>
</table>

<?

}

mysql_close();
?>

This is to retrieve the data but how to save the data in MsExcel exectly the same row and colums as what is in the php page? what is the syntax of coding required?
