I am a beginner in the PHP enviroment and need a urgent help

does anyone know how to save the data from mysql displayed in the php page into MsExcel file.

what i want is to get the exectly the same row and colums displayed in the php page into the MsExcel file.

<?php

$host="localhost";
$username="root";
$password="";
$db_name="test";
$tbl_name="test_mysql";

mysql_connect("$host", "$username", "$password")or die("cannot connect");
mysql_select_db("$db_name")or die("cannot select DB");

$sql="SELECT * FROM $tbl_name";
$result=mysql_query($sql);

while($rows=mysql_fetch_array($result)){
?>
<table width="400" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="3">
<tr>
<td width="10%"><? echo $rows['id']; ?></td>
<td width="30%"><? echo $rows['name']; ?></td>
<td width="30%"><? echo $rows['lastname']; ?></td>
<td width="30%"><? echo $rows['email']; ?></td>
</tr>
</table>
<?
}

mysql_close();
?>

This is what i do display the data from the mysql into the php page. what i want is to save the page data into MsExcel file where the data are exectly the same rows and colums as what is displayed in the php page where the data is organised in the format(id,name,lastname,email). Any solutions or source code in php to save the data into the MsExcel format where the rows and colums will remain the same as what is displayed in the php page?

        like follow this link:

                http://sourceforge.net/projects/psxlsgen/

        and for simple usage u can do like this:
