baxr6
Hi all, i have apache2triad version 1.5.4 installed and it works great...I decided then to upgrade phpmyadmin from the version 2.7pl2 it comes with to version 2.11.0.To do this i deleted all the files from the phpmyadmin folder and copied the new files across...i then updated the config file.(user and password). I works fine but it has at the bottom the following error message. Your PHP MySQL library version 5.0.11-beta differs from your MySQL server version 5.0.18. This may cause unpredictable behavior. also what charset should i be creating database in....as a lot of the databases i have with online providers seem to be latin1 and im using utf....this seems to be causing some issues when i try to restore.... and my final question is about php and mysql itself....we have a dedicated server that displays screen shots for an online game....it seems to be laging the server when we have the web server running....are there any good guides and/or tutorials out there on optimizing your web server for this type of application... Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/67993-phpmyadmin-wrong-lib-version-web-server-optimization/ Share on other sites
