nadeemshafi9 Posted September 5, 2007 Share Posted September 5, 2007 hello guys im in an emergencey, i have an excelent install of PHP 5 and Mysql 5 on my laptop, i am experienced with these on both linux and windows, i have taken C:PHP binaries install from my Windows machien and put it on my laptop windows machine thsi works fine, everythign is fine, EXCEPT for some reason, even thogh iv doen teh things i usualy do my phpMyAdmin cant find the PHP mysql extention it gives teh USUAL error the oen when u un comment PHP_MYSQL.DLL in the php.ini and it gets ok, i also put c:php\ and c:php\ext in the windows path. nadeemshafi9 Posted September 5, 2007 Author Share Posted September 5, 2007 i have an incling it may have somthign to do with user rights, or me having coppied the folder C:\PHP folder ove rthe ETHERNET i remved teh read only tag from C:\php and subs so it cant be that, i have simplified privlages OFF so i added IWAM to teh C:\PHP folder. nadeemshafi9 Posted September 5, 2007 Author Share Posted September 5, 2007 On my PHP_info() output page.php, it saus extion_dir | c:php5, but on my php INI it says c:\php\ext (this is wher etehy are ?) how do i tell it which php ini to use i checked i only have one php ini, there is none inside the win32 folder, so where is it getting teh false info ? nadeemshafi9 Posted September 6, 2007 Author Share Posted September 6, 2007 used the PHP installer to define the C:php as teh folder chose ISAPI install, then deleted teh contents of the PHP installation and pasted the one from my desktop with teh PEAR EXT and my old php.ini its all working. yesssssssssss, whos thae man, im teh man, thanks im gona have a fight on my xbox 360 to celebrate Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
