[SOLVED] Javascript print & IE

The following code works perfectly in Firefox but the print() fails in IE, this despite javascript print() working perfectly when called in other sections of the system from a HTML page via a button in IE.

function PrintReceipt(Event)
{
print();
var EventToo = document.getElementById("EventID").value;
setTimeout(window.location="TI4-2.php?EventTable="+EventToo,4000);
}

The call to TI4-2.php works in both IE & Firefox, however I am not sure that the setTimout() is working too well in IE, but my question is why is the print() being ignored in IE and it works fine in Firefox ?
