bre Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 I have some php scripts that work on old server but need changes to work on new server. I use hosting and have VPS servers on both. The script I pass variables to doesn't see them unless I use; $form_name = $_POST["form_name"] I didn't have to do that on old server. pocobueno1388 Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 On your other server they probably had magic_quotes_gpc off. This means that you don't have to define your post/get data with $_POST or $_GET. On your new server they have them on, meaning you do have to define them like you are.
