im trying to compare a value from a combo box.

This is my combo box

<lable>Select Network

  <select name="Network" onChange="SLR.submit();">

  <option value=""> Select Network</option>

  <?

  while($network = mssql_fetch_row($result4))

{

?>

  <option value="<?php echo $network[0] ?>"> <?php echo $network[0] ?></option>

<?php

  }

?>

</label>

</select>

the value is from a database.

when i submit it goes to

if(isset($_GET['Network']))

{

$n = $_GET['Network'];

//echo $n;

if($n == 'E')

{

//echo $n;

header ('Location: http://localhost:82/70/Addnewlight.php?id=e');

}

else if($n == 'T')

{

//echo $n;

header ('Location: http://localhost:82/70/Addnewlight.php?id=t');

}

else {

echo "didnt work";

echo " ";

echo $n;

}

}

this is where i make comparison.  Now $n has the right value in it when i echo it.  But it doesnt make the comparson.  Am i missing a vital thing here?
