phat_hip_prog Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 Hi, yesterday I validated my cms according to W3C, fist I used XHTML and then HTML, either way it messed up my javascript dhtml menus. The drop down menu on the homepage now is placed without reseting left and top, and are dropped instead (resulting in bad positioning). Also a popup tooltip thing on the programming home page errors out with 'Error: document.getElementById(objectID) has no properties'. If I get rid of the W3C doctype statement and change my script definitions back to <script> from <script type='text/javascript'>, it all works fine again.
