I research this mod_rewrite almost a day and finally i got it but i have one problem though...

when i tried this code..

 

RewriteRule ^pages/([a-z]+)$ index.php=action$1

 

my problem is that when i used the "/" (slash), i cant see my image, and the css.. can someone tell me how to solve this?

so now, what im using is the "-" and it didn't give me problem. I dont know if thats apache configuration or some sort of

apache version. i am using apache version 2.0.2..

 

Please people i need to solve this problem for my thesis... thank you..
