Problem with creating new dir

I have php script that creates new directory. The code is as simple as:

 

$oldumask = umask(0); 
mkdir("dir1/".$dir2, 0777);
umask($oldumask); 

 

name for $dir2 comes from:

'<form ACTION="" method="post">'.
Type name: <br><input TYPE="text" name="dir2"><br><br>'.
'<input TYPE="submit" name="dp" value="add dir2"><br><br>' .
'</form>'

 

But when I try to create new directory inside $dir2 nothing happends or new directory is created in dir1 instead of dir2  ???

 

 

For example, I have dir named main/ and first part of my script creates new dir called one/ => now I have something like that: main/one/. Second part of my script should create new dir inside "one" =>main/one/two/, code:

 

mkdir("main/one/two", 0777);

 

But instead of that dir two is created in main => just like that main/two"

 

I dunno what is going on, some ideas? ???
