digitalmartyr
So what i got going on is a database that has, things about a video game, including the image location. what i want to do is have a nav bar up top, so the user can select a differnt way of sorting the mysql result, from like ASC to DESC, or sort by genre. I hope someone can help. thanx [attachment deleted by admin] Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/69532-how-do-i-allow-the-user-to-sort-a-mysql-result/ Share on other sites
hackerkts
You can make use of $_GET['var'], then at your query just use something like $type=$_GET['type']; $arrange=$_GET['arrange']; mysql("SELECT name FROM rank ORDER BY '$type' '$arrange'"); That's just a rough idea, remember to make it secure too if not you will get SQL Injected for sure.
