jeeva
hi frnds, please tell me wts wrong with my code. <?php $time=time(); $filename=$time.$_FILES['file']['name']; $uploaddir="IMS"; if(is_uploaded_file($_FILES['file']['tmp_name'])) { $result = move_uploaded_file($_FILES['file']['tmp_name'],$uploaddir.'/'.$filename); if (!$result) { echo "Err"; exit; } } ?> my problem is in my localhost files are uploading but its not working in the server. when i am using the copy instead of move_uploaded_file its working properly.. if i print the $result, then its return 1 as the file has uploaded but actually its not uploading.. and also its not giving the error...i have checked the folder permission also... can i use copy() to upload the file?... if i use copy() instead of move_uploaded_file() then any issues will come? remlabm
your $uploaddir must be the absolute path... /home/site/public_html/IMS/ to find your absolute path use your phpinfo(); file.
