Guardian-Mage
look under mbstring extension check, you have failed to meet two of the requirements, which means it is time to delve into your php config files, and if you can't do that because you are on a shared server, you will have to get a different forum
Sennen Danmatsu
you see what a shiny example if you know more you ask more 1. hiw do I know if I have a shared server? 2, how do I delve into my confog files? (thx for solving the first mistery though m8 )

tippy_102
Create a file called .htaccess in your root directory, edit and include the following: php_value mbstring.http_input pass php_value mbstring.http_output pass I'm not sure if that will work or not, but it's worth a try. Guardian-Mage
Ok, everyone has problems with .htaccess files. I will presume you are using Windows. Go to Tools > Folder Options > View and uncheck the box for "Hide extensions for known file types". Then create a new text file. Rename it to .htaccess. Guardian-Mage
The problem is probably with the .htaccess file. First, did you buy your server package from a company, or did you install it on your personal computer?
