Drop down list with months

Hey,

 

I am trying to create a drop down list that has December 2006 as the first option and then goes up month and years till the current month and year (September 2007).

 

I am a newbie so would appreciate any ideas or example please?

Sorry mate, I worded it incorrectly and for testing purposes put back a few months - now reading back at it, it is not what I wanted to do.

 

I am trying to to get a drop down list that starts with September 2007 and goes up the currnet date. So in a few days time, in October, the list will show October 2007 and then September 2007 below it. In a one years time it will display September 2008 all the way back to September 2007.
