Hi,

I want to query the database to retreive the email address of the current loggin in user, is this possible?

I can manage to get the result of all the registered user but I want each user to only see their own/

$sql = mysql_query("SELECT `user`.`username`, `user`.`passwd`, `user`.`email` FROM user " )

I guess I need to use WHERE but don't know the code.

Many thanks

It depends how your holding their username on your site are you using sessions or cookies?

your query would be along the line sof

$sql = mysql_query("SELECT `user`.`username`, `user`.`passwd`, `user`.`email` FROM user WHERE username = '".$_SESSION['username']."'") or die(mysql_error());

my example is based on when you authorise the user you have chosen to save their username in a session variable called username.

Regards

Liam
