belick
I was wondering if someone can answer my question in this category... I want to outsource some codding and I want to know how can I secure the codes from my offshore guys? in a way, I can manage and fund the whole project and then find out that one of the programmers took and sale the codes out. is there is a way to copyright the code? so I can be sure that no one from my stuff can publish it or sale it? sKunKbad
I've seen php code that was completely encrypted, but how easy that is to crack I don't know. I think the truth is, is that your offshore buddies don't give a hoot about copyrights or copywrongs, so you should try the encryption. At least if you encrypted it, they would have to be smart enough to crack it. belick
They need to create the codes... so they access to the original codes. I am trying to find out if there is anything like a contract that can protect me and to leave the copyright with me... maybe GBL license... cooldude832
easiest way to protect your self is to do it yourself, otherwise don't assign a compelte project to a single person Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/71613-license-and-copyrights/#findComment-365059 Share on other sites
