When a server serves php pages, is it one at a time, or simultaneous?

Let's say I visit somesite.com/stuff.php

the server crunches through all the php code on stuff.php, and then serves my browser the contents.

What if someone visits that page a mere millisecond after I do?

Do they have to wait until the server crunches all the php and serves me,

or, does the server immediately start crunching the php, whilst still in the middle of producing my page?

Thanks

The second one.

I have some reports (single PHP scripts) at work that run as long as 2 minutes, the server can run multiple instances of the webserver daemon.

Each instance of the webserver can be running PHP code, sending HTML, or running another kind of scripting code at the same time.

So, multiple users can run the same script at the same time.
