RichardRotterdam Posted October 9, 2007 Share Posted October 9, 2007 What you need something that stores the number of times that has been voted and the total score every time someone votes just add 1 to the vote count and the score to the total score you can calculate the rating as followed $averageScore=$totalScore/$votes; you can use javascript for that hover effect. And for voting make sure it only excepts value's not higher then 5 and lower then 1 with a php check otherwise I'll just drop by and give your crappiest votable object an average score of 256.
