How do I insert Javascript variables into Mysql

Dear all,

I have been struggling with this problem for over 2 weeks.

I have a JavaScript file with extension php which I want other people to insert into their code.
What I am after is to do web analytics by allowing other people use SSI for JavaScript and I wish
to register variables like

Referer
Client IP
Time of visit
================


For example the file is in the format below..

//track.php
<?
Header("content-type: application/x-javascript");
var clientnumber=10001;
$serverIP=$_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
echo "document.write(\"Your IP address is: <b>" . $serverIP . "</b>\")";
?>


Then webmasters will just include to tack the visitor details on their sites:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.mydomain.com/track.php"></script>



How do I insert the information in a Mysql database....

Or if I am to use Javascript only, how do I put the visitors information but doing it on behalf of other people
who have inserted the above code into their html. Any sample code?

Please help... (If this is not clear, I will rephrase the scenario)
