LiveCURL

Does anyone know what the difference is between "LiveCURL" and "CURL"?

I would like to use Authorize.net for payment processing but they require PHP with the CURL (??) module.

I was thinking of using 1&1 for hosting but their tech dept says they only have "LiveCURL".

Taking a step back, could someone explain to me what any of this has to do with PHP and Authorize.net?

Thanks,

Amy

P.S. I just did a Google, and I'm wondering if the Indian Tech Support dude was talking about "libcurl" instead?!  ???
