mattkenefick
If I use PayPal Payflow Pro or something like that.. Does my server need to be secure.. or when I use cURL and send to their HTTPS , is that all that matters?? mattkenefick
I think I used to but I gave it up cause there was never anyone answering anything on it. Latest posted would be like 2 weeks old with no replies or anything. mattkenefick
This isn't a paypal specific question. it's just about e-commerce in general. Like.. 2CheckOut or whoever offers those kinds of APIs that you authenticate with. dustinnoe
I was playing around in the sandbox about a year ago and always found answers on the forum. Although I don't really know the answer to your question here is my thought on the subject. If you have a page where you are collecting sensitive information(ie. Credit card numbers) it needs to be secure. hvle
No you do not need secure server for paypal. All sensitive information like cc, address are to be entered inside paypal server and it is already secured. However, you need SS for other credit card using merchant account.
