[SOLVED] Cannot modify header information

I have a page that needs to perform two security checks:

1.) that the user accessing the page is logged in

2.) that the user accessing the page has made less than 3 postings already

If either case is false, the user should be redirected to a error page. Here is the code to perform this:

<?php

//check the user logged in legitamatley if not redirect them to the error page

                   session_start();
                   if ($_SESSION['$specialcode]!=session_id()){
                   header("location:pagecannotbefound.htm");}

//check that the user has less than 3 postings. If not, redirect them to the error page

if ($_SESSION['postings']== 3){
header("location:pagecannotbefound.htm");}

?>

My problem is that at the moment i am getting this error message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/vhosts/propertyeagle.co.uk/httpdocs/addproperty.php:18) in /var/www/vhosts/propertyeagle.co.uk/httpdocs/addproperty.php on line 26

Sorry, I know this category of question is the most asked question ever about PHP but in this case its slightly different as there are two consecutive header statements..

This code is currently positioned at the very top of the page.

Thankyou.
