rajivgonsalves
You will not be able to change it if you do not have access over the server configration as its a server directive, the most you can try is .htaccess file http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/howto/htaccess.html Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/75163-changing-default-extension/#findComment-380137 Share on other sites

rajivgonsalves
Then if your .htaccess is not working then I do not think it will be possible in any other way Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/75163-changing-default-extension/#findComment-380145 Share on other sites

nutbolt
I think i should now completely drain this thingy from my mind ! Since my host has canceled the access to make .htaccess files due to security reasons , now i cannot even do any thing with .htaccess.... Since its a free host and never down , thats why i'm stuck to him !... Otherwise it sucks from features side..... And he's giving me free , i cannot expect anything better than not going down.................
