Changing default extension

Hey my problem is little weird , what i want ?

I want to have a custom extension instead of .php to .whatever

>:(

 

I know its possible , if we have access to the configuration files of apache !

Or with MIME/TYPES , since i can't do anything of the above !

*Confused* need help.................. :-\

I think i should now completely drain this thingy from my mind ! Since my host has canceled the access to make .htaccess files due to security reasons , now i cannot even do any thing with .htaccess....

Since its a free host and never down , thats why i'm stuck to him !...

 

Otherwise it sucks from features side..... >:(

 

And he's giving me free , i cannot expect anything better than not going down.................
