sillysillysilly Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 I get a tif image in an xml document that I need to then display in an email. if it were in jpg I could do this ok but I cannot seem to convert the image without saving it to a folder then converting. Because of the automation on this it is not a practicle solution. Do you know how to take the raw image and convert it all in the same php function before inserting it into the email I will send. severndigital Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 it will take quite a bit of coding, but it can be done with the ImageMagik library. I have done something similar to auto convert to .png file in the past using GD image lib, but it does not support Tif files. you will need to examine the tif file for size and create a new jpeg image with those demensions, then apply the tif file to the new jpg and save out.
