grphp
I am a beginner, so I would definitely like some help. I have two sites hosted in a rather old server (as it seems), and I am getting these kind of messages: Warning: Unknown: Your script possibly relies on a session side-effect which existed until PHP 4.2.3. Please be advised that the session extension does not consider global variables as a source of data, unless register_globals is enabled. You can disable this functionality and this warning by setting session.bug_compat_42 or session.bug_compat_warn to off, respectively. in Unknown on line 0 The problem is the admin area is not working. I am using the pass but nothing happens. Someone told me that there is a problem with the register_globals and safe_mode. I dont know in what file in file directory should I check and what to fix. If anyone can help , is more than welcome. Please advise me what file should I open and what to replace. I can give site url and admin pass if asked, because nothing is working anyway Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/75335-newbie-plz-help/ Share on other sites
~n[EO]n~
You must change the php.ini setting on the web server, contact your hosting provider. Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/75335-newbie-plz-help/#findComment-381007 Share on other sites
