timeout logout

still for now i cant make the user timeout logout, how to make this happen? do i have to change anything in php.ini? or there is certain thing to write in the script?

You can do this using sessions. Put this code at the top of your header page so it is executed each time the user clicks.

If you leave alone for more than 30 minutes the session will be gone anyway. I think he wants the server to log a timeout.

It all depends on what they have set in there ini file to how long the session will last. I don't see anything in their post that refers to wanting to log it...
