Hey,

I have a small error in my code but im still learning PHP so im not sure what the solution is:

<?php
if (isset($_POST['submit'])) {
$query = "SELECT * FROM team_selection WHERE fixture_id = '$fixtureselected'" or die(mysql_error());
$result = mysql_query($query) or die(mysql_error());

while ($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) {?>

<table border="1">
<tr>
<td>
Player:
</td>
<td>
<?=$row['player_name']?>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<?php }} ?>

Error:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '1''' at line 1

Thanks for your help

Elliot

Why did you add all of these quotes and stuff around it? That's what's causing the problem.

Make a the definition simple:

$fixtureselected = $_POST['fixturedrp'];

In your previous "version" you add single quotes around the string and that messed up the query.

Orio.
