Display contents of a Javascript library

Okay I have a directory my class can submit their .js libraries in and I have my own seperate page that displays the list of submitted.

What I need to know is how to display the contents of the .js file within my own page or another, without saving the file to my computer or change the actual name or type of file the .js is.

They'll be linking these to there scripts, so changing the type isn't an option.  Unless theres always a copy for them, but my would have to update when they upload a new one.

Is it just possible to click the link and the contents display in a text area or something.

Please respond quickly.
