Demonic
I've seen it somewhere where say you have a abstract sql database class, and you want to do something like below(doesn't work, forgot how to do it). <?php class test { public function test(){ echo "test"; } } class test_type { public $db; function __construct() { if( 1 == 1 ) { $this->db = new test; } } } $type = test_type::db; $type->test(); ?> See in the constructor i want to like..check which type works best, say if i had mysqli or mysql i want it to auto detect and create a new class like i got above, how would that work, if you understand what I mean.
