I am using mod rewrite in ,htaccess successfully - ie it is renaming .html files as .php (since its a dynamic site written in php).

My primary reason for doing this was so that search engines would successfully index the .html (which in reality are .php files).

But after several months, they are not being indexed.  Since other pages are being indexed ok, I have assumed the mod rewrite has some issue?

Has anyone else faced this problem, or has any advice?
