eon201 Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 Hi, I currently am displaying the first five values on my page from an array with the following code: foreach($count_urls_today as $key2 =>$value2){ $il2++; if($il2 <6){ $key2 = substr($key2,0,67); echo " $value2 - $key2<br/>"; } This works great for me, and I get the top five results that I wanted. But how would I store each version of $key2 to a seperate variable... eg... $result1 = $key2[1]; $result2= $key2[1]; $result3 = $key2[1]; $result4 = $key2[1]; $result5 = $key2[1]; Once the values are stored they will be whisked away to a mysql table for importing into another page! Thanks in advance! Eon201 Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/78534-stroing-a-value-to-an-array/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
rajivgonsalves Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 something like this should work foreach($count_urls_today as $key2 =>$value2){ $il2++; if($il2 <6){ $key2 = substr($key2,0,67); ${"result".$il2} = $key2; echo " $value2 - $key2<br/>"; } Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/78534-stroing-a-value-to-an-array/#findComment-397419 Share on other sites More sharing options...
