Access array from method return

Does anyone know if or how it would be possible access a methods returned array such as:

function getFields() {
    return array("zero","One","Two","Three");
}

print getFields()[1];

I understand the example above is pointless. I would be using this to access object members that returned an array of objects such as:

$object->getFieldsByType("TypeToFind")["ArrayKey"]->value;

Thank you,

Brandon

Thanks for the reply

I was just trying to figure out a way to accomplish the task in one line like other languages

If the method returns an object I can access the members of the object like so:

$object->getByName("NameToFind")->value;

but not if it returns an array objects

Thanks,

Brandon
