Select 2 or more options from check box and display

i am trying to make a website with dreamweaver and i have already done the structure but i dont know how to link the relevant checkboxes option in submiting what the user selects. This is a holiday site and has a table with interests (Skiing, Library, Museum) when the user selects skiing and library from the text box and press submit it should come with another page displaying Skiing and Library places. I dont know how to start the code and what to include or exclude. I need an example or something to get me going please

 

 

Ps. it has to be done with php and mysql

they probably are but i dont know what this is called... the webpage i am trying to work on is www.snicolaides.com/DIY and i would like a code to operate the checkbox you can see. when a user selects 2 or more check boxes and presses submit the same page has to open new page with the relevant interests he has selected along with information about them and pictures.
