thanks,

its strange because i only get the error sometimes if i add a include myself ( not the same file just random files) but if i add it through dreamweaver it works fine even though it looks exactly the same, any ideas?

Your files are getting saved as UTF-8 (or Unicode) and the BOM (byte order marker?) that is at the start of the file is getting output to the browser. This is the content.

The error message about the output started at line 1 is the clue.

Make sure that the file is saved as ANSI/ASCII.

The reason why copying and pasting to a new file worked is that file probably got saved in ANSI/ASCII mode.

Weird i live in europe so i use UNicode instead of Ascii and i never had any problems.

Unicode is needed when you want to write in french for example
