[SOLVED] Insert into database

Hi guys,

 

Im trying to insert data collected by my checkboxes into my database. I have been echoing out the correct results and now i want to move the script on to get real data in the database. I'll show you the part of the script that i think needs to be developed. I think i may need some kind of implode function but im not sure?

 

I've i run the following code only the first value selected by the user enters the database, not every selected item separated by commas.

$orderid = $_POST['orderid'];
foreach($orderid as $value){
echo "$value, ";
}
}
?>
<?php
$conn = odbc_connect('CentralProduct', 'root', '') or die('Could not Connect to ODBC Database!');

$sql = "INSERT INTO Order1 " . "(ProductNotes) VALUES ('$value')";

your script should be something like

 

<?php 

$value = implode(",",$_POST['orderid']);

$conn = odbc_connect('CentralProduct', 'root', '') or die('Could not Connect to ODBC Database!');

$sql = "INSERT INTO Order1 " . "(ProductNotes) VALUES ('$value')";
