I'm trying to take advantage of mod_cache, and have the following config settings:

LoadModule cache_module modules/mod_cache.so

LoadModule disk_cache_module modules/mod_disk_cache.so

LoadModule file_cache_module modules/mod_file_cache.so

LoadModule mem_cache_module modules/mod_mem_cache.so

<VirtualHost xxxx:80>

    ....

    CacheRoot "/tmp/httpd_cache"

    CacheEnable disk /

    CacheIgnoreCacheControl On

    CacheIgnoreHeaders Set-Cookie

</VirtualHost>

I have created the /tmp/httpd_cache directory with permissions set to 666

This is getting parsed and read-- it complains if I use any wrong cache directives so it seems to be valid config syntax.

However, there are no files at all being written to the cache directory-- no static or dynamic content.

Anyone know what I am missing to get mod_cache working?

Thanks,

Eric
