[SOLVED] IE Issue

The above is a testing design I'm creating.

In Firefox and Opera, I tested it and it worked perfectly. The banner and the navigation were aligned correctly etc., although, in IE it seems to not set itself correctly. I use position: fixed; as of now. Unfortunately only position: absolute; seems to work for IE, and that causes problems in wide-screen computers of varying sizes.

How can I fix this incredibly annoying issue? And it's important I fix it for IE because over 40 percent of my visitors use IE.

Nevermind. I checked on Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and my site looked perfectly fine.

I never really bothered to update my incredibly old Internet Explorer version.

After looking at more detailed statistics, 0% of my visitors use the version of IE that shows my site looking horrid, and if anyone does come with that version, I beleive it's truly their own responsibility to update their browser version.
