jonoc33
I'm having this problem.. in the below script it outputs two buttons in two forms, Delete and Edit. Although, the Edit button (below the delete button) paragraphs down and I want them to be next to each other instead. How would I go about doing this? Is it because the form is taking up a space? $results = mysql_query("SELECT news, authorsname, date FROM ".TBL_NEWS.""); while($values = mysql_fetch_array($results)){ print $values['date']." by ".$values['authorsname']."<br />"; print "News: ".$values['news']."<br />"; print "<form name=\"form1\" method=\"post\" action=\"action.php?do=newsdelete\">"; print "<input type=\"submit\" name=\"button\" id=\"button\" value=\"Delete\">"; print "<input name=\"news\" type=\"hidden\" id=\"news\" value=\"".$values['news']."\">"; print "</form>"; print "<form name=\"form2\" method=\"post\" action=\"action.php?do=newsedit1\">"; print "<input type=\"submit\" name=\"button\" id=\"button\" value=\"Edit\">"; print "<input name=\"news\" type=\"hidden\" id=\"news\" value=\"".$values['news']."\">"; print "<input name=\"date\" type=\"hidden\" id=\"date\" value=\"".$values['date']."\">"; print "<input name=\"authorsname\" type=\"hidden\" id=\"authorsname\" value=\"".$values['authorsname']."\">"; print "</form>"; Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/82893-solved-unwanted-paragraph/ Share on other sites
BenInBlack
try wrapping the buttons in a table structure and in the td tag add the attribute "nowrap" Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/82893-solved-unwanted-paragraph/#findComment-421618 Share on other sites
mars_rahul
better use templates such as xtemplate or smarty so that u can differentiate ur business logic and presentation. By doing this u are more free while designing and php coding.
