Second DIV being edited under Internet Explorer using YUI (Yahoo library)

I'm using the YUI 2.2 library to change DIVs with AJAX. For some reason, when I try to update a second DIV (containing a SELECT box aswell as the first DIV), the first dropdown box becomes empty.

 

UPDATE:

I've solved my problem eventually with 200 extra lines of code to get it to work in IE and FF
