phpknight
I just upgraded my decidated box to Apache 2.0 from 1.3. However, I was a reading some stuff from a year or two back that Apache 2.0 if not a good idea with PHP and causes a lot of bugs. I have PHP 5.2.5, mySQL 5.0.45, and Apache 2.0.61. Are those bugs not an issue with this setup, or should I downgrade back to Apache 1.3.38? peranha
I am running apache 2.2.3, PHP 5 and mysql 5 for a year now, and have not had any problems. I never read any thing about issues with the versions. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/84548-apache-20-and-php-525/#findComment-430768 Share on other sites
phpknight
Okay, thanks for the input. I still found the warning in the current docs from Nov 07. Something about using MPM instead of pre-fork. Somebody else mentioned that image functions might be bugging, and I use those a lot, so I just want to check. So, if anybody else has any input or has worked extenively with images with Apache 2, please let me know.
