M109uk Posted August 10, 2003 Share Posted August 10, 2003 Hi, Im writing some software that connects to my database on my server, it works great when im using \'localhost\' as the hostname but this will cause problems when other users try to connect, so i have tried and tried to use another hostname, but nothing is working, iv tried the web address, etc.. Im not sure on what i need to change or anything, but i have tried to change the my.ini command #bind-address= etc yet nothing happens, i cant use an IP because i have a dynamic IP..
