i updated the new database with the old info and it quit working again

On all these lines where you do queries, you have some errors

 

$query = "SELECT * FROM `spawns`" or die("Could not connect to database");

$result = mysql_query ($query);

 

Here you don't put "or die" in the variable, you put in the mysql_query line

 

$query = "SELECT * FROM `spawns`";

$result = mysql_query ($query) or die("Could not connect to database");

 

Then you have problems on other lines, where you do a mysql_query twice.

 

$mani = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM `spawns` where `ID` = $id") or die("Could not connect to database");

$result = mysql_query($mani);

 

should be

 

$mani = "SELECT * FROM `spawns` where `ID` = $id";

$result = mysql_query($mani) or die("Could not connect to database");

 

There are a few like that so you have to fix them all.  Frankly, I don't see how this worked on any version.
