I've got fulltext search "working" on my website but I've been having a problem with it accepting multiple columns for search...

i.e -

SELECT *, MATCH(description,position) AGAINST('software') AS relevance FROM jobs WHERE MATCH(description,position)
          AGAINST('software' in boolean mode) and location = 'California-Orange County' and category = 'Computer Services'
  order by relevance desc;

Now if i just have one column listed under MATCH() it works just fine... I checked the web though and this syntax should be correct but it keeps generating the following.

Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list. Error 1191

Doesn't make sense because all the columns are FULLTEXT indices. =\ Any help would be appreciated! Thx
