mortaltomato
Hello phpfreaks.com! I'm a total newbie and I just created an SMF forum. I installed a theme called Neptune by Bloc but the problem is, the banner changed to Neptune, instead of my forum name. What do I change in the index.template.php code to replace the Neptune banner to my own custom banner or to change the name to my forum's name. Thanks! Here is the index.template.php file: http://www.2shared.com/file/2750415/7eafcd4/indextemplate.html Here is a screenshot of the forum: http://i25.tinypic.com/2yug7xw.jpg Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/87194-solved-changing-forum-banner-to-custom-please-help/ Share on other sites
adam291086
Have you tired locating the image file? Locate where all the images are stored. Then replace that image with the one you want. Making sure you name it exactly the same. Or change the name and then locate where the image is being called upon in your script. mortaltomato
Okay I've found a PSD file and opened it, edited the text, and then saved it. Can't tell if it's working as my server's down so, I'll update you guys later.. aebstract
That won't solve your problem. You'll need to find the header image location. ie: header.jpg or something of the sort. Then you're gonna want to use that psd, save out that image but as you want it to be and replace it. mortaltomato
Yeah, I was thinking that but I've browsed through the images folder and haven't found the banner's image file, or anything of resemblance to it. The only thing was that PSD file.. mortaltomato
I tried that, but it seems like it's not there.. it can't be right-clicked, when you drag it, it doesn't behave the way an image does.
