bruckerrlb
Hello, I have a simple question, but it's been driving me crazy. I am trying to use the php include statement to go down one folder in my directory. I've tried both of the following codes, but I always get errors <?php include(".../toolbar.php"); ?> Or <?php include('.../toolbar.php'); ?> Or <?php include(".../admin/toolbar.php"); ?> Or <?php include('.../admin/toolbar.php'); ?> Basically I've got a subfolder in the admin directory and I'm trying to get to my toolbar in the admin folder, which is one folder down, but I can't seem to get in there with php include, does anyone know what "m doing wrong? Aureole
Try two dots, I think that will work but I'm not entirely sure. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/87910-solved-php-include/#findComment-449760 Share on other sites
bruckerrlb
Awesome, that worked, thank you so much, I was reading the php website, and all I could find was a way to get to the root folder, but I was just trying to move down one, that works, thanks again!
