Hi all

I have a site that i am using cookies for and this is the code :

$usernames = $theUser['CallID'];
			setcookie("user", $usernames);
			echo "<meta HTTP-EQUIV=refresh CONTENT=0; URL=" . $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . ">";

i have been using this at work and i now have a problem with the cookies being stored on the server...

some times that user that logs on to a site on the same network it picks up the same user name from the cookie. hope this is making sence.

can any one help me overcome this problem :)

That is what i thought. at work we are running over a large network and when a user is logged on it sometimes allows the user to logon and, then it displays a diffrent name than the user is that has logged in.

it might be because the user has set the "remember me at next logon" to yes.

i am confused.

setcookie sets a cookie on the user's pc, not the server, so I'm not sure what you are referring to.
