nezbo
Hi all I have a site that i am using cookies for and this is the code : $usernames = $theUser['CallID']; setcookie("user", $usernames); echo "<meta HTTP-EQUIV=refresh CONTENT=0; URL=" . $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'] . ">"; i have been using this at work and i now have a problem with the cookies being stored on the server... some times that user that logs on to a site on the same network it picks up the same user name from the cookie. hope this is making sence. can any one help me overcome this problem Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/88173-cookies-with-proxi/ Share on other sites

revraz
setcookie sets a cookie on the user's pc, not the server, so I'm not sure what you are referring to. nezbo
That is what i thought. at work we are running over a large network and when a user is logged on it sometimes allows the user to logon and, then it displays a diffrent name than the user is that has logged in. it might be because the user has set the "remember me at next logon" to yes. i am confused. setcookie sets a cookie on the user's pc, not the server, so I'm not sure what you are referring to.
