Essence Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 I am not confident enough with PHP to create a script from scratch, but i really do need a members area for my site soon. I have MySQL databases, and can use PHP on my site. If anyone can point me in the direction of a simple yet effective script i would really appreciate it. What i am looking for is a script which can allow members to register, validate their registration, login to the website restricted pages, and recover their username/password is they forget. I realise this probably requires several scripts and steps that i need to take, and i honestly don't know where to start. I've found MySQL to be quite confusing, and as of yet haven't been able to successfully create a member's table. If you know of a step-by-step process including scripting that has been proved to work please let me know.
