refiking
I am about to write a rules page for a website and I need some advice on how to go about it. I was thinking of 2 options: 1) Create a rules.txt file and allow the admin side to add, edit or remove rules from the file. 2) Store the rules in a db. Which one would be better to do? Again, I am not looking for the quickest or easiest, but the best choice.
revraz
What do you mean by "rules"? Is it a guild or a clan or something? DB is always a good way to store data, especially if there are many lines. If it's just one line, then you can use whatever you like. GameYin
If it's just rules, then create an array and just simply call the variables. That's the way I would do it. The database would not be needed in my opinion. Just extra work.
refiking
LOL. No, it's not a cult. It's a sports league. And thanks! I'll use the db.
revraz
Since when is a guild or clan a cult?
refiking
I saw cult not clan. Not used to programming and after the last 6 days of code code code, every word is a little scrambled.
